Folks,
Help.
Re the initials after your signatures:
I do know what the "P" and "F" stand for. (Duh....!)
And I've figured out the "HH".
But please, what's X, V, E, C, R, L, and TS?
Thanks
(from someone who's still on the slow side of the curve.)

Here are the ones I know (or think I know):
X - stamps exchanged while on the trail (for instance if you and I
met on the trail we would stamp each other's books and each have
an "X" -- and being you are from MI, this could actually happen!)
E - Event stamps
C - I believe some people are using this one for "confiscations"
(boxes that have been removed, primarily by the NPS)
L - Lizards
As for V, R, and TS... I haven't a clue

The only other one I know is "V". It stands for Virtual boxes I
believe.

Yes that makes sense for "V"... hope to work on finding a few of
those and try my hand at coming up with a few once the snow flies.
...and I'm thinking that maybe TS could be the number of telephone
solicitors you avoided by getting out of the house to letterbox.

I think all the letters are accounted for but the R and the TS.
You'll remember a few days ago Psychomommy told that story of how she
got stuck in the mud and 14 fireman, policeman and paramedics came.
After that event she added an R to her count, the R standing for
Rescues. I don't remember who uses TS.

thought of... : )

The other day Randy mentioned Traveler's and referred to Graham
Howard's post of 3/5/01.
I guess I am the only letterboxing nerd/geek that read Graham
Howard's message, plus all the other posts that were in reference to
the subject.
Guess what- there are B's and P's that are counted by the Brits. You
can go read about them.
T stands for Traveler, or what ever you wish(transformation).
L is my son's lizard count that started at a googol.
I still say the E is an E.T. count for the group in Ohio that are
Star Wars fans.
C is confiscated, Don can tell you his sad stories.

--- The Turtle says I've gotten too complicated and says I should
just do P & F's. I'm just having fun and there ARE NO RULES. V is
virtuals, C is confiscated by NPS, R is being rescued by handsome
men, L is dedicated to my darling nephew (but are my actual reptile
counts) and TS is Firefly's very special count and it's not
telemarketers/solicitors. Scout Dogs has A for attempts. Don't you
just love a spot/hobby that you can make up you own rules? Think
outside the box!!! Loving Life, Mudmommy
Psychomommy and The Turtle
P19 F59 X29 V3 E2 C0 R1 L7 1/2 and then there is FOTT 2(Firefly
on the trail)
P.S. Thanks to all who e-mailed me with their very kind thoughts.
Hope to meet all of you some day! :-)

I use C too but not for confiscations, but for "Carved" to keep track of how many I have carved for myself and others...
